Glendon was proud to be a collaborator on the Society for Humanistic Psychology Conference, which was held at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara February 28 to March 3, 2013. The conference was an enriching and rare opportunity to engage with many of the most creative and contributive humanistic therapists of our time. The conference featured talks by Irvin Yalom, Gabor Mate, Lisa Firestone, and more.

DEC. 1, 2012 – Save Lives: Learn the CPR of Suicide Prevention
Free Training with Dr. Lisa Firestone

On Dec. 1, Dr. Lisa Firestone presented a day-long training to community members, students, and mental health professionals educating them on how they can help prevent suicide. Teaching warning signs and helper tasks that can save a life, Dr. Firestone’s presentation was highly valued and reviewed in the following newsletter. Read more here
